Andouille Chicken Sausage
Ingredients:
- 1 lb Andouille Chicken Sausage
- 1 red pepper, cut into chunks
- 1 green pepper, cut into chunks
- 1 yellow pepper, cut into chunks
- 1 red onion, cut into chunks
- Wooden or metal skewers
- Olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: Cajun seasoning for extra flavor
Directions:
- If you are using wooden skewers, soak them in water for about 30 minutes to prevent them from burning during grilling.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Thread the sliced andouille chicken sausage rounds onto the skewers, alternating with the chunks of bell peppers and onion.
- Brush the kabobs with olive oil and season with salt, pepper, and Cajun seasoning if desired.
- Place the kabobs on the preheated grill and cook for about 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until the sausage is cooked through, and the vegetables are tender and slightly charred.
- Once cooked, remove the kabobs from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
