In 1918, Joseph Slotkowski founded the sausage company bearing his name. Through the mid-‘80’s, second-generation family members ran the business and helped to establish the brand as a household name throughout the Chicagoland area.

In 1992, ATK Foods purchased the company and pledged to preserve the family’s Old-World recipes and their attention to quality. We have proudly kept our promise.
