Whole30 Italian Meatball Zucchini Boats

Italian-Style Chicken Meatballs
INGREDIENTS:
- 8 Italian-Style Chicken Meatballs
- 1 medium zucchini
- Extra virgin olive oil
- 1 cup Whole30 compliant spaghetti sauce
- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/4 tsp salt
- Fresh ground black pepper
- Fresh basil, chopped for garnish
DIRECTIONS:
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
- Cut the zucchini stem off and cut lengthwise.
- Use a spoon to scoop out the center of the zucchini.
- Add some olive oil to a baking dish and place the zucchini halves inside.
- Drizzle more olive oil over the zucchini and season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Place the Italian-Style Chicken Meatballs inside the zucchini boats, then top with spaghetti sauce.
- Bake uncovered for 20 minutes. Enjoy!
