Teriyaki & Pineapple Meatballs
Ingredients:
- 1 pack Amylu Foods Teriyaki & Pineapple Meatballs
- 2 cups cooked rice of your choice
- 2 cups Steamed broccoli
- 1 cup cooked carrots
- 1/4 cup Teriyaki sauce
Directions:
- Cook 2 cups of rice according to the package instructions.
- Once cooked, fluff the rice with a fork and set aside.
- Cook the Amylu Foods Teriyaki & Pineapple Meatballs for 15 minutes in the oven or on the stove.
- Set the cooked meatballs aside.
- If you’re using fresh broccoli, cut it into small florets. Steam in a steamer basket over boiling water for about 5-7 minutes, or until tender but still bright green. If using frozen broccoli, steam or microwave according to package instructions.
- If using fresh carrots, slice them into rounds or small pieces. Steam them with the broccoli for about 5 minutes, or cook them separately until tender (about 7-10 minutes). Alternatively, you can use pre-cooked or canned carrots.
- In each bowl, start by adding 1/2 to 1 cup of cooked rice as the base.
- Layer on the steamed broccoli and cooked carrots, spreading them evenly over the rice.
- Place 3-4 meatballs per bowl on top of the rice and veggies.
- Drizzle 1/4 cup of teriyaki sauce over the rice, veggies, and meatballs. You can add more sauce if you prefer it extra flavorful or saucy.
- Use a spoon or fork to gently mix everything together so the sauce coats the rice, veggies, and meatballs evenly.
- Serve immediately while hot. You can garnish with extra toppings like sesame seeds, chopped green onions, or even a sprinkle of red pepper flakes for a little extra flavor kick.
