Savory Oats

INGREDIENTS:

  • 6 Breakfast Bites with White Cheddar Cheese, Uncured Bacon & Spices
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1 1/2 cups chicken stock or broth 
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1 Tbsp nutritional yeast
  • 1/4 tsp soy sauce
  • 3 oz cremini mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup spinach
  • Grated Parmesan (optional)

DIRECTIONS:

  • To a pot on medium heat, add the mushrooms, soy sauce, Breakfast Bites with White Cheddar Cheese, Uncured Bacon & Spices, and chicken stock. Let it cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Stir in the oats, followed by the garlic powder, onion powder, nutritional yeast, and spinach.
  • Turn the heat to low and let everything simmer for about 10 minutes or until the oats are thick and creamy.
  • Top with some grated parmesan and enjoy!
