Fig & Gouda Chicken Melt

Caramelized Onion & Gouda Chicken Burger
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 Caramelized Onion & Gouda Chicken Burger
- 2 slices sourdough bread
- 2 Tbsp fig jam
- Extra virgin olive oil
- 1 slice gouda cheese
- Handful arugula
DIRECTIONS:
- Spread fig jam on both slices of sourdough and set aside.
- Heat the Caramelized Onion & Gouda Chicken Burger in a pan on medium heat with some olive oil for 1-2 minutes, then flip and add the cheese on top.
- Cook until the cheese starts to melt.
- Add the arugula to one slice of sourdough, followed by the warm chicken burger then place the other slice of sourdough on top.
- Add a drizzle of olive oil to a pan on medium heat and heat the sandwich for a few minutes until the bread is golden brown.
- Add another drizzle of olive oil to the top of the sandwich before flipping and cooking the other side. Enjoy!
