Roasted Garlic with Fontina, Parmesan, & Pecorino Romano Cheese Chicken Meatballs
INGREDIENTS:
- 16 Roasted Garlic with Fontina, Parmesan, & Pecorino Romano Cheese Chicken Meatballs
- 1 lb store bought pizza dough
- 6 cups water
- 1/4 cup baking soda
- Grated parmesan
- Shredded mozzarella
- 2 Tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 tsp garlic, minced
- 1 tsp parsley, chopped
- Kosher salt
DIRECTIONS:
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
- Take some pizza dough and form a 3-inch circle, add grated parmesan, mozzarella, and a Roasted Garlic with Fontina, Parmesan, & Pecorino Romano Cheese Chicken Meatball.
- Wrap the dough around the meatball, making sure there are no openings in the dough.
- Roll into a ball shape and set aside.
- Once you have made the bites, bring a pot of water to a boil and add at least 1/4 cup of baking soda.
- Add the bites to the baking soda bath in batches, so they are not overcrowded.
- When the bites float to the top, they are ready to be removed. This should only take a few seconds.
- Place the bites on a nonstick/parchment lined baking sheet.
- Bake for about 15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and make the garlic butter by melting butter in the microwave for 10-15 seconds and immediately stirring in the garlic and parsley.
- Brush bites with garlic butter and sprinkle with parmesan and kosher salt.
