Caramelized Onion & Gouda Chicken Burger

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 Caramelized Onion & Gouda Chicken Burger
  • Brioche bun
  • Garlic aioli
  • Arugula
  • 1 slice of gouda cheese
  • 1 Tomato, sliced 
  • 1-2 strips crispy bacon
  • 1/2 avocado, sliced 
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • Pinch of salt
  • Fresh cracked black pepper

DIRECTIONS: 

  • Mix the mayonnaise, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, garlic, pinch of salt, and pepper together to make the garlic aioli. 
  • Spread some garlic aioli on each half of the bun and toast in a pan on medium heat.
  • Once the buns are golden brown, remove and warm up the Caramelized Onion & Gouda Chicken Burger.
  • Flip the chicken burger once and add a slice of cheese on top.
  • Cook for a few minutes, until the cheese begins to melt. 
  • To the toasted bun, add a layer of garlic aioli, followed by arugula, the chicken burger with cheese, tomato, more garlic aioli, crispy bacon, and sliced avocado. Enjoy!
