Cherry, Jalapeno & Goat Cheese Meatball
Ingredients:
- Pizza Dough
- 1/2 cup Barbecue Sauce
- 1/4 cup Cranberry Sauce
- 8 oz Fresh Mozzarella
- 8 Amylu Foods Cherry Jalapeño & goat cheese Chicken Meatballs, cut in half
- Sliced Jalapeños
- Sliced Red Onions
- Goat Cheese
- Cilantro for garnish
Directions:
- Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C), or follow the instructions on your pizza dough packaging.
- If using store-bought dough, roll it out on a lightly floured surface to your desired thickness.
- Transfer the dough to a baking sheet or pizza stone lined with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
- In a small bowl, mix 1/2 cup barbecue sauce with 1/4 cup cranberry sauce. Stir well until the mixture is smooth and well-combined. Taste and adjust the sweetness or tang by adding more cranberry sauce or barbecue sauce, depending on your preference.
- Use a spoon or spatula to spread the barbecue-cranberry sauce mixture evenly over the surface of the pizza dough, leaving about 1 inch from the edges for the crust.
- Evenly distribute the slices or torn chunks of fresh mozzarella cheese over the pizza.
- Slice the Amylu Foods Cherry Jalapeño & Goat Cheese chicken meatballs in half and scatter them across the pizza.
- Add sliced jalapeños to taste
- Spread the sliced red onions evenly over the pizza for a bit of crunch and sweetness.
- Sprinkle the crumbled goat cheese on top for a creamy, tangy flavor contrast.
- Place the assembled pizza in the preheated oven and bake according to the pizza dough package instructions (usually around 10-15 minutes), or until the crust is golden and crispy and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- If you’re using a pizza stone, bake the pizza directly on the stone for an even crispier crust.
- Once the pizza is done, remove it from the oven. Let it cool for a minute or two, then sprinkle freshly chopped cilantro on top as a garnish for a burst of freshness and color.
- Slice the pizza into wedges and enjoy!
