Caramelized Onion & Andouille Sausage Sliders

Andouille Chicken Sausage
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 pack Andouille Chicken Sausage
- 4 large onions
- 1 Tbsp butter
- 1 pack rolls of your choice
- 1 pack cheddar cheese
- Mayo
- Everything but the Bagel seasoning
DIRECTIONS:
- Peel and slice onions.
- Add butter and a drizzle of olive oil to a large skillet.
- Once the butter starts to melt, add onions and cook, stirring on medium-low heat until they are caramelized. This may take about 45 minutes.
- Slice the Andouille Chicken Sausage.
- Once the onions are done, remove from heat and add the sausages to the same skillet.
- Cook for 5 minutes on medium heat until they are slightly charred.
- Return onions to skillet and mix with sausage.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Add a pack of rolls to a lined baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Slice in half and take the top off.
- Spread the bottom with mayo and then layer with cheese.
- Add the sausage onion mixture then top with more cheese.
- Close the rolls with the top half, rub with a little mayo and sprinkle with Everything but the Bagel seasoning.
- Bake for 20 minutes.
- Slice into pieces and enjoy!
