Apple & Sausage French Toast Bake

Apple & Maple Mini Chicken Sausage Links
INGREDIENTS:
- 4 Apple & Maple Mini Chicken Sausage Links
- 2 slices of sourdough bread, cut into cubes
- 1 Fuji apple. diced
- 1/4 cup egg whites
- 1/4 cup oat milk (or milk of your choice)
- 1 tsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp maple syrup
- Pinch of salt
- Ground cinnamon
- 1 Tbsp butter, melted
- Cooking spray
DIRECTIONS:
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
- Add bread cubes to a baking dish already sprayed with cooking spray.
- In a cup, mix the egg whites, oat milk, brown sugar, maple syrup, and salt with a fork, then pour over the bread cubes.
- Sprinkle a generous amount of cinnamon over the bread and mix with a spoon so that all the bread is covered in liquid.
- Add the chopped apples followed by another generous sprinkle of cinnamon, then drizzle the melted butter near the top.
- Top with chopped Apple & Maple Mini Chicken Sausage Links and bake for 25 minutes. Enjoy!
